

Compiled by Terry Heller and collaborators at Coe College, beginning in 1997 and continuing to this day. The Sarah Orne Jewett Text Project contains the complete, known published works of Sarah Orne Jewett, with the exception of a very small number of hard-to-find items. Some items can also be accessed in booklet form at The Internet Archive.
The Sarah Orne Jewett House is a museum devoted to educating the public about the life and work of Sarah Orne Jewett, her family, and her community.
The museum is part of the Historic New England preservation organization


Jewett Archives
While nearly all of Jewett's ouvre is available on the SOJ Text Project, her physical papers are housed numerous places. Repositories of her papers can be found at the University of New England, at the University of New Hampshire, at Colby College, at Bowdoin College, and at Harvard University's Houghton Library, among others.

Research Fellowships
Funding for the study of Sarah Orne Jewett and her contemporaries is available through Harvard's Houghton Library Fellowships, the Massachusetts Historical Society's New England Regional Fellowship Consortium (NERFC), and through the Maine Women Writers Research Support Grants.
